What is the relationship between the environment, pesticides, preservatives, food, food production, food washing, and food storage? Currency estimates of when human males will become infertile is in 2047. This is based on the current drop in male testerone counts down 40-60% globally from the 1970’s.

    & STRESS

    6 Hours Category B – Wellness APPROVED CA-A-21-11-10081

This course educates practitioners in the damaging effects of stress on all major systems of the body.  We have both positive and negative stressors.  There are three major types of stressors, Physical, Mental, and Chemical.  Each type of stress affects other types of stressors within the body.  Students will be shown a few examples such as; if an individual has a neck injury, which represents the physical portion of stress, the area becomes inflamed which creates pain chemicals. This can lead to a lack of sleep which negatively affects a person’s mental health.

Students will be shown how body language in correlation with movement can show a person in distress. Happy people vs depressed persons show differences in body movement.  Students will watch videos and through personal examples study movements and its correlation with happy vs depressed states.  Students will be taught the basics of body language in relation to depression.

1 Hours Category A – Chiropractic Technique (Waiting Approval)

This course educates practitioners in proprioception and balance. Proprioception is the sense of knowing where your body part is in space. Every injury has the potential to decrease proprioception and subsequently balance. Students will be taught the anatomical pathways and how chiropractic care and muscle work can increase proprioception.

Students will also be taught in the use of the tuning fork and how it can measure both posterior column and cerebellum function. The tuning fork and balance exams will help students develop therapies to treat proprioceptive dysfunction. Balance can both be used to evaluate the patients well being and as a measurement tool for chiropractic care

The TMJ affects dystonia, tourettes, the cerebellum, movement and coordination. The TMJ also affects the perception of pain. By modulating neurological regions within the cortex, pain and can be affected by inhibitory inputs, descending pathways, the peri aquaeducti grey area, and A1 afferents.
